Sir, as a teacher, these tips are good yet you are not giving the students the foundation nor full understanding of how this all works.... aka how according to clause 4 of the 14th Amendment the citizen has, through a series of events, agreed to his “consensual servitude” as self incriminated 'debtor', which he, in actuality is not. Would not a full explanation as to why the consumer is not liable be better.... Almost anyone in the comments can tell you it is because there is no money, only credit. Sir, please help your students understand, tell these kids the full story. With respect, you are teaching from a playbook, and there is so much more to understand. I encourage you to study and understand what happened with the passage of House Joint Resolution (HJR )192- 1933 and the abrogation of the gold clause which means that ALL alleged public debt is fully dischargeable. 14th amendment clause 4 says the US citizen shall not object to the public debt. The obsefication of the full story and the fact is that the US citizen exchanged his gold for credit. Look at a dollar bill. Who owes who? This is not a trick question. . The Fed owes the citizen. The citizen is the creditor until he contracts away his rights. Pl ase tell these kids how they contract their rights away... you are not addressing it in the videos I see. (Hint, it has nothing to do with them obtaining a credit card, but has to do with their standing and status in law... or lack there of. ) Mr Lawyer, please learn the full measure and scope of what is really going on due to the abrogation of the gold clause. and when you have, I hope you will teach the good ignorant students the truth. Bad news is if you do obtain the understanding of how money really works then you might get booted off You Tube and fired from you UofH job. Sir. Please fulfill your calling and start by reading the The Federal Reserve Act 1914, Bankruptcy of the United States, 1933. and the AMENDED, Trading with the Enemies act. How are you going to teach consumer law and you don't have a full understanding of these taxable events... lol... You may be pleasantly surprised to learn that there is truly a remedy for all these good people and yourself if you will get curious... read the comments of all the commenters... they are trying to help you. Understand the foundations of what you teach, lest we all be parrots regurgitating and never fully understanding.

MARITIME JURISDICTION Van Deurzen v. Yamaha Motor Corp. USA, 276 Wis. 2d 815 (Wis. Ct. App. 2004) ....🔑 Dicta Maritime law is a matter of subject matter jurisdiction. In 28 U.S.C. § 1333(1), Congress gave federal district courts exclusive subject matter jurisdiction over civil cases of admiralty and maritime jurisdiction, except that state courts retained concurrent jurisdiction to the extent that they would otherwise have provided a remedy for the suitor. Thus, unless Little Lake Butte des Morts was a navigable waterway for purposes of maritime law, this case involved no maritime tort. The trial court therefore had no concurrent maritime jurisdiction and had no authority to apply maritime substantive law to this case, even if the parties so requested.

The specific circumstances of the case and applicable laws will determine whether the court can hear the case.
